Origin Investments, a leading private real estate fund manager, has appointed Michael Collins as Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations. Collins has more than 25 years of experience, having served in capital formation roles with Easterly Asset Management, Kennedy Wilson, The Blackstone Group and Eaton Vance.

Greenstone Partners announced Brewster Hague as Partner, a promotion from Senior Director. Hague joined Greenstone Partners in 2019 and has established himself as a top retail and mixed-use commercial real estate broker in the urban and suburban Chicago market. As a Partner, Hague will contribute to the firm’s expansion and strategic planning, alongside his brokerage efforts.

Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) announced the appointment of Katie Benefield as Regional Operating Officer, Central Region. Joining the firm after more than a decade at CBRE, Benefield will partner with Transwestern company executives, market and finance leaders, and all support functions to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies; maximize resource deployment across the organization; streamline business development, and implement best practices to enhance client service.

Skender has added five key new hires—Brian Bezanis, Ricardo Lopez, Ryan Pieper, Don Koehler and Terez Sturrup—to support the growth of the firm’s new commercial and residential building project pipeline. Collectively, the new team members bring to Skender a high-rise construction portfolio totaling more than 1,200 stories and 13,000 units of experience.

Lee & Associates completed an 8,979-square-foot lease renewal for T-Brothers Logistics at 620 Supreme Drive, Bensenville, IL. The facility is centrally located in Bensenville, with easy access to multiple interstates and O’Hare International Airport. Chris Nelson and Calvin Gunn, Principals at Lee & Associates of Illinois, represented the tenant, T-Brothers, a shipping and logistics company. The landlord, Prologis, was self-represented.

Friedman Real Estate’s Rich Deptula and Peter Jankowski recently completed the sale of the 102-unit Philadelphia Square Apartments located at 1055 Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Friedman represented both parties in this transaction.
