Zhitong Finance App News, Seiko Steel (600496.SH) announced that from January to September 2024, the company (including holding subsidiaries) signed a total of 441 new contracts, with a cumulative contract amount of 17.15 billion yuan, an increase of 6.5% over the previous year. From July to September 2024, the company (including holding subsidiaries) signed 187 new contracts, with a cumulative contract amount of 4.91 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%. From January to September 2024, the company's steel structure sales volume was 876,000 tons, down 2.9% year on year. Of these, steel structure sales in July-September were 309,000 tons, down 5.2% year on year.

During the reporting period, the company continued to seize overseas market development opportunities and accelerate the expansion of international business. A total of 2.67 billion yuan of overseas business orders were signed in the first three quarters (the Philippine project that had already won the bid in the previous period was not yet signed, so it was not included in this order data), an increase of 230.3% over the previous year, accounting for 15.6% of the order structure, an increase of 10 percentage points over the same period last year. As an extension of the domestic market, the overseas market effectively made up for the impact on the company's business in the fierce competitive environment of the domestic industrial construction market. In the first three quarters, domestic and foreign industrial construction orders totaled 8.34 billion yuan, which is basically the same as the same period last year.

At the same time, the company's various emerging businesses continued to grow steadily. The amount of BIPV contracts signed in the first three quarters was 190 million yuan, an increase of 83.8% over the previous year, surpassing the BIPV business volume for the full year of last year (150 million yuan). The amount of contracts signed for industrial chains and strategic franchises was 720 million, an increase of 220.3% year on year. In particular, in the third quarter of the single year, the contract amount increased 1028.9% year on year, fully demonstrating the market's recognition of the company's brand.
