CNOOC said its subsidiary has signed four concession contracts for Brazilian offshore exploration blocks. The total area of these blocks is 2,600 square kilometers. Cnooc Petroleum Brasil will hold 100% interest in one block and act as the operator, while holding 20% of the non-operating interests in each of the other three blocks.
