As the market picked up in September, the number of private equity fund filings increased dramatically. According to the latest data from the Private Equity Ranking Network, 265 private equity fund managers registered a total of 353 products in September, an increase of 171.54% over the previous month. In terms of strategy, more than half of the private equity funds listed above are stock strategy products. According to the data, a total of 200 stock strategy products were registered in September, accounting for 56.66% of the total number of products registered in that month. Among the remaining strategies, multi-asset strategies and futures and derivatives strategies are also favored by private equity institutions. The number of products registered in September was 65 and 42, respectively, accounting for 18.41% and 11.90% of the total number of registered products in that month. The relevant person in charge of the private equity ranking network said, “Futures and derivatives strategies have become the choice of more and more professional investors due to their flexibility and diversification. Multi-asset allocation can use the rotation effect between different assets to obtain stable returns, and is regarded by most private equity institutions as an effective means of crossing different economic cycles.”
