As of press release, Swire Properties (01972) rose 3.02% to HK$16.4; Henderson Land (00012) rose 2.58% to HK$25.8; New World Development (00017) rose 1.86% to HK$8.21; Changshi Group (01113) rose 1.67% to HK$33.45; and Jiulongchang Land (01997) rose 1.22% to HK$24.9.

According to news, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Lee Ka-chiu, today released the third “Policy Address” during his tenure. The “Policy Address” proposes to relax mortgage loan conditions for residential properties. Regardless of the value of the property, whether it is owned by a company, or whether the buyer “first installs”, the upper limit of the mortgage ratio will be adjusted to 70%, and the upper limit of the contribution to income ratio will be adjusted to 50%.
