Personal AI and enterprise AI became one of the most important topics of this conference. Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, said that improving productivity and efficiency is not the whole purpose of enterprise AI; there is another key to driving innovation — Lenovo is committed to reducing energy consumption and making our planet more sustainable.

To achieve this mission, Lenovo provides asset recovery services, recycling parts and materials, and supporting a circular economy. In operation, Lenovo continues to increase on-site renewable energy capacity through solar installations. In particular, Lenovo's R&D team has a mission of “sustainable design” to ensure that every new product is designed with the goal of improving energy efficiency and maximizing the use of recycled materials.

For artificial intelligence, Lenovo has released the sixth-generation Neptune liquid cooling solution.

Yang Yuanqing said that for more than 10 years, Lenovo Neptune Poseidon Liquid Cooling has been in a leading position in the world in data center cooling technology. Compared with traditional air cooling systems, Neptune Poseidon liquid cooling uses warm water cooling technology. It can reduce electricity consumption by up to 40%. It allows AI and HPC customers to run more than 100 kilowatt server racks without the need for dedicated data center air conditioning, with 98% of the heat transferred to the water cycle. With Lenovo Neptune Liquid Cooling, customers can execute demanding artificial intelligence workloads while pursuing their sustainability goals.
