On October 15, local time, Armenian President Khachaturian arrived in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, for an official visit and held talks with Kazakh President Tokayev. During the talks, the two sides highly praised the rise of bilateral relations to a new level, and agreed that the two countries should strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, transportation, agriculture, finance, digitalization, and culture. Tokayev said that Kazakhstan is ready to provide Almaty as a venue for negotiations and the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The leaders of the two countries also jointly attended the opening ceremony of the Kazakh Armenian Culture Day on the same day.
