Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) has revealed the Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup for October 2024, and it's headlined by Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, set to release on Oct. 25.

This marks the first time a Call of Duty game has launched day-one on Game Pass, following Microsoft's $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard in 2023.

This move is part of Microsoft’s strategy to leverage high-profile titles to expand the Game Pass user base. Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, has long stressed the power of Game Pass in driving engagement and sales.
