Egyptian President Sisi held talks with visiting Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed on the 15th local time to discuss issues such as bilateral cooperation and a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. The establishment of a sovereign and independent Palestinian State in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy is the only way to achieve peace and security in the region in a sustainable manner. Both sides jointly called for measures to ease the situation, including a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon to resolve the local humanitarian crisis. The two sides also discussed issues such as security in the Red Sea region and the situation in the Sudan, Libya, and Syria.
