In order to implement the “Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Climate and Environment of the Kingdom of Norway on green and low-carbon development cooperation” and promote practical cooperation in green and low-carbon development between China and Norway, Liu Dechun, Director of the Environmental Finance Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, met with Ingeveld Savelud, Director of the Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Climate and Environment of Norway on the morning of October 14. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on relevant policies in key areas such as dealing with climate change, green development, plastic pollution control, circular economy and sustainable green value chains, and environmental protection, etc., clarified the next steps for implementation, and established a working docking mechanism. The International Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, the International Cooperation Center and the Norwegian Embassy in China sent personnel to attend the meeting.
