On August 30, the “New Sea Sturgeon”, the first domestic 15,000 square cabin dual-fuel power rake suction dredger built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries and invested by CCCC Shanghai Aviation Administration and built by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, returned from test sailing and successfully completed the LNG gas test mission. The dual-fuel power design of the “New Sea Sturgeon” wheel fills the gap in domestic clean energy dredgers. As the first dual-fuel-powered dredger in China, it uses LNG clean energy as the main power source. Its LNG ship power unit has basically the same dynamic indicators as diesel engines, and can reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by 90% and carbon dioxide emissions by 20%. The ship is equipped with the most advanced and intelligent “one-click dredging” and “integrated dredging” system. For the first time in China, the “unmanned dredging” function under typical working conditions has been realized.
