I learned from the China Meteorological Administration that on August 30, the China Meteorological Administration released an ocean weather navigation service platform and service products. The purpose of this move is to keep up with ship navigation service needs, expand the scope of ocean weather navigation services, further promote the integration of meteorological services into the entire shipping value chain, and protect ocean vessels. The ocean weather navigation service platform consists of four major scenario-based, intelligent, and customized service “terminals”: “cloud”, “mobile terminal”, “ship side” and “shore end”.
