On August 30, the Information Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government held a press conference on the negative list of cross-border data flows in the Beijing Pilot Free Trade Zone. Wang Fei, deputy director of the Beijing Internet Information Office, said at the press conference that at present, Beijing has established an innovative policy system with the “first scenario-based, field-level negative data exit list” as the core, and a comprehensive management system based on the model of “free trade zone first test+city-wide facilitation reform+dynamic evaluation and optimization mechanism”, which indicates that Beijing has basically established a data exit security management system and has explored and formed a “Beijing practice” for efficient, convenient and safe data cross-border flow.
