China's first national green development demonstration zone, the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, has set new construction goals to explore and provide a model for the country to accelerate the overall green transformation of economic and social development. The National Development and Reform Commission recently issued the “Implementation Plan for the Construction of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City National Green Development Demonstration Zone”, which determines the Eco-City's goal of building a national green development demonstration zone with green, low-carbon and high-quality development as the main line, focusing on high-value-added industry segments, and characterized by a world-class business environment. It proposes 20 main indicators in 3 areas, so that the main indicators of green development will reach the leading international level by 2035.
