Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline margins gain on weaker crude

LONDON, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining margins rose by 75 cents to $6.92 a barrel on Friday, recovering slightly from a 10-month low in the previous session but remaining at their lowest since January, as underlying crude oil futures prices fell.

• Around 12,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 barges traded in the Argus window on Friday, up from 8,000 tons on Thursday. Musket, Vitol, and Gunvor sold to Mabanaft, BP and Petroineos.

• Another 2,000 tons of Eurobob E5 traded, unchanged from the previous session.

• Independently held gasoline inventories in Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) hub rose by 6.2% in the week to Aug. 29 to 1.01 million tons, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.

• U.S. gasoline stocks fell last week by 2.2 million barrels to 218.4 million barrels, their lowest since November, EIA data showed. The draw was deeper than forecasts for a 1.6 million-barrel draw.

• The gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCC) at Lyondell Basell Industries LYB.N 263,776 barrel-per-day (bpd) Houston refinery remained shut on Friday morning following a fire, said people familiar with plant operations.

• No injuries were reported from the Thursday fire on the 110,000-bpd FCC, the sources said. The blaze was quickly extinguished.

• EU and UK gasoline exports reached 1.16 million bpd in August, Kpler data showed, marginally below July's 1.21 million bpd.
