CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens muted after US inflation and domestic GDP data

- Canada's main stock index opened marginally lower on Friday as optimism on favourable U.S. inflation and domestic GDP was countered by major declines in energy stocks.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (13:31 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 24.44 points, or 0.1%, at 23,203.05.
