According to the Zhitong Finance App, Yunnan Water (06839) announced its 2024 interim results, with revenue of approximately RMB 1,242.5 billion, a decrease of about 15.9% over the same period last year. Gross profit was approximately RMB 201 million, a decrease of about 32.4% compared with the same period last year. The loss attributable to the company's common shareholders was about 743 million yuan, an increase of about 2.86 times over the previous year; the basic loss per share was about 0.623 yuan.

According to the announcement, the net loss was mainly due to a decrease in operating income and an increase in anticipated credit provisions and goodwill impairment provisions for financial assets.
