How to rollover assets out of my Webull IRA into a QRP or IRA somewhere else?

There are 4 options when potentially rolling assets out of your Webull IRA into another retirement account:

  1. You can request a check to be sent directly to the custodian of the new retirement account (direct rollover) or you can request a check sent directly to you (indirect rollover) at which point you have 60 days to put that money into an IRA or QRP account to avoid potential taxes and penalties.
  2. You can request a wire distribution be sent directly to the outside firm. You can submit either an ACH or Wire Distribution back to your bank account via the Webull App or on Webull.com. Keep in mind 60-day indirect rollover rules apply whenever you take hold of the funds in a retirement account.
  3. If you have the same type of account at the outside firm that you wish to roll the assets over to you can request an account transfer. To do this you simply need to provide your Webull account info to the outside firm and they will initiate an incoming account transfer. This is typically the easiest method. Keep in mind that Webull charges a $75.00 fee for all outgoing account transfers and those funds will need to be available in cash before initiating this outgoing transfer with the outside firm.
  4. You can request a Direct or Indirect Rollover by filling out the distribution forms below

For Apex IRAs

For Omnibus IRAs
