Extended Hours Options Trading

What are the extended trading hours for options? 

• Pre-Market: 7:30 AM – 9:25 AM ET (eligible symbols) 

• Regular Market: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET (select symbols trade until 4:15 PM ET) 

• Post-Market: 4:00 PM – 4:15 PM ET (for eligible symbols that do not trade until 4:15 PM in regular hours) 

Which symbols are eligible for extended hours options trading? 

• Single Stocks: AAPL, AMD, AMZN, AVGO, BABA, BAC, F, GOOG, GOOGL, HOOD, INTC, META, MRVL, MSFT, MU, NFLX, NOK, NVDA, ORCL, PFE, PLTR, SNDK, TSLA, TSM 

• ETFs: SPY, QQQ, IWM, GLD, XLF 

The eligible symbol list is subject to biannual updates based on exchange rules (in January and July). 

What order types and settings are supported? 

• Order Type: Limit orders only. 

• Strategies: Single-leg and multi-leg orders (stock-tied order types are excluded). 

• Time-in-Force (TIF): Day and Good 'Til Canceled (GTC). 

• Trading Hours: Select "Include Extended Hours" (or "Regular Hours" for Regular Market only). 

Why might market quotes differ from executable prices in post-market trading? 

Certain exchanges disseminate quotes during the 4:00 PM – 4:15 PM ET window without offering extended hours trading. As a result, market quotes displayed during this time may not always reflect executable prices.

Why don’t I see extended hours options trading in my app?

Extended hours options trading is available on the Webull mobile app and desktop app. It is not available on Webtrade (web platform). If you’re using the mobile or desktop app and don’t see the option, update to the latest version through the App Store, Google Play Store, or the desktop app. After updating, fully close and reopen the app. Extended hours trading is available only for eligible symbols during the sessions listed above.
