Linking Your Debit Card


How do I link my debit card?

To link your debit card, please follow the step-by-step instructions provided below.


App:

  1. Tap the Webull logo (bottom center).
  2. Select Transfers.
  3. Under Linked Account(s), tap Link a Debit Card.

Desktop:

  1. Click on Account on the icons on the left.
  2. Select Deposit in the banking widget. This will guide you to the Transfer Money page on the web.
  3. Select Linked Accounts on the left.
  4. Choose Link a Debit Card.

Web:

  1. Navigate to My Account at the top right of the page.
  2. Select Linked Accounts on the left.
  3. Choose Link a Debit Card.

What types of cards can I link to my account?

Debit cards issued by U.S. banks that participate in the Visa or Mastercard networks can be linked to your Webull account. Credit cards, virtual cards, and prepaid cards are not supported.


Can I link a debit card that’s not in my name?

Third-party transfers are not supported. You must link a debit card in your own name.


Can I link a card using a VOIP number?

No, VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) numbers are not supported for card linking. If you’re currently using a VOIP number, we recommend updating your profile with a valid mobile number before attempting to link your card.


Why am I having an issue linking my card?

The card processor may conduct an additional security review to determine if your debit card can be supported. If the card is rejected from being linked, you may try linking a different debit card. If you are unable to link a debit card successfully, we recommend using ACH or wire transfer for deposits and withdrawals.


Why can't I unlink or change my current debit card?

You cannot delete or update your linked debit card while a transaction is still pending. For example, if you make a deposit on Monday, the debit card can typically be unlinked or changed starting Wednesday, once the transaction has fully processed.


Can I link more than one debit card?

Your Webull account is limited to one debit card link at a time. If you would like to link a different card, you may delete the current one and link a new one.


How do I change my debit card?

To update the debit card on your profile, you’ll need to remove the existing card first. Please refer to the instructions below for step-by-step guidance:


App:

  1. Tap the Webull logo (bottom center).
  2. Select Transfers.
  3. Under Linked Account(s), select your debit card.
  4. Tap Delete Card and re-initiate the linking process.

Desktop:

  1. Click on Account on the icons on the left.
  2. Select Deposit in the banking widget. This will guide you to the Transfer Money page on the web.
  3. Select Linked Accounts on the left.
  4. Select your debit card and click Delete Card.
  5. Re-initiate the linking process.

Web:

  1. Navigate to My Account at the top right of the page.
  2. Select Linked Accounts on the left.
  3. Select your debit card and click Delete Card.
  4. Re-initiate the linking process.
