Why are some stocks suddenly unavailable to trade?

Most U.S. listed equities, options, ADRs, ETFs and some Over-the-counter (OTC) securities are supported for trading on Webull Platforms. Bonds, mutual funds, warrants, rights and units are not supported.

However, if one stock is going through a corporate action, the affected stock may be temporarily unavailable for trading while the changes are being processed by our clearing firm. A corporate action may even temporarily remove your position from a stock until the event is completed. If you still don’t see your position after the corporate action, please contact us through our in-app Help Center or Feedback.

The following corporate actions will affect trading in stocks:

Name Change	Including changes in symbols, CUSIP and stock names.	Generally available by normal market hours (9:30 AM ET) on effective date.
Change to OTC	Stocks move to OTC markets from a major exchange.	Position closing only trades if not on the OTC trading list.
Delisted	The removal of a listed security from a stock exchange.	Permanent
Split	Company divides its existing shares into multiple shares to boost the liquidity of the shares.	Generally available by normal market hours (9:30 AM ET) on effective date
Reverse-Split	Company consolidates the number of existing shares of stock into fewer, proportionally more valuable, shares.	Generally available by normal market hours (9:30 AM ET) on effective date
Others	Stock bonus, business merger, spin-off and other corporate actions.	Generally available by normal market hours (9:30 AM ET) on effective date

**Trading suspensions are subject to timely position adjustments by the DTCC and Apex Clearing. The above table describes the average duration for suspended trading on impacted corporate action securities.

Additionally, due to the share price volatility, some stocks may turn into penny stocks. Due to the inherent risks of penny stocks, these stocks are not tradable on Webull. If you would like to close your existing positions on these stocks, please contact us through Help Center.
