Semirara Mining and Power Corporation is a Philippines-based mining company, which is engaged in thermal coal extraction and power production. The Company’s primary purpose is to search for prospect, explore, dig, and drill, mine, exploit, extract, produce, mill, purchase or otherwise acquire, store, hold transport, use experiment with, market, distribute, exchange, sell and otherwise dispose of, import, export and handle, trade, and generally deal in, ship coal, coke, and other coal products of all grades. The Company's truck and shovel operations produce approximately 16 million metric tons of coal per year. The Company’s subsidiaries include Sem-Calaca Power Corporation, Southwest Luzon Power Generation Corporation, SEM-Cal Industrial Park Developers, Inc., Semirara Materials and Resources, Inc., Semirara Energy Utilities, Inc., Southeast Luzon Power Generation Corporation, St. Raphael Power Generation Corporation and among others.
