Soda Nikka Co Ltd is a Japan-based chemical trading company specializing in inorganic chemicals, organic chemicals, and synthetic resins. It operates through three business segments. The Chemicals Business segment sells inorganic and organic chemicals, such as soda products, secondary soda products, ammonia-based products, other inorganic chemicals, chlorine-based, fluorine-based, and petroleum-based solvents, petrochemical products and others, to the chemical, pulp and paper, food, detergent, and government markets. The Functional Materials Business segment sells synthetic resin raw materials, synthetic resin products, glass fibers, packaging materials, construction, equipment, electronic materials and others, to the food, resin processing, and electronics markets. The Other Business segment consists of real estate rental income, and the businesses of subsidiaries including warehousing and transportation services, sales of industrial chemicals and others.
