The Consumer Goods segment is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of extendable straws, the purchase and sale of food and beverage supplies, and others. The Industrial Products segment is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of mask blanks, and others. The Finance and Other Businesses segment is primarily engaged in real estate-backed loans for businesses, and others. The Energy Business segment consists of the Coal Production segment, and the Coal Sales segment. Due to the closure of existing mining areas in the Australian coal mining business, the Coal Production and Coal Sales segments of the Energy Business segment were discontinued at the end of the fiscal year ending March 2024.
