Osaka Soda Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the basic chemicals and functional chemicals businesses. It operates through four business segments. Basic Chemicals segment manufactures and sells caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, liquefied chlorine, chlorine gas, sodium hypochlorite, sodium chlorite, sodium chlorate, caustic potash, hydrogen gas, epichlorohydrin and allyl chloride. Functional Chemicals segment manufactures and sells allyl ethers, epichlorohydrin rubber, diallyl phthalate (DAP) resin, energy-saving tire modifiers and others. Healthcare segment manufactures and sells pharmaceutical refining materials, analytical equipment, pharmaceutical active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates and others. Trading and Others segment purchases and sells paint raw materials, adhesive raw materials, photosensitive resins, color resistance, DAP processed materials, and housing-related products, as well as sells, transports and stores chemical products and others.
