Advantex Marketing International Inc. provides working capital to merchants. The Company provides merchant cash advance (MCA) and loyalty marketing services to its community of merchants. The MCA program meets the working capital needs of merchants. Loyalty marketing services are delivered through its re-seller relationship with the Aeroplan loyalty program owned by Air-Canada. The Company’s merchants operate across Canada in diverse business segments: restaurants; independent inns, resorts and selected hotels; spas; retailers of men’s and ladies’ fashion, footwear and accessories; florists and garden centers; health and beauty centers; gift stores; and home decor. In the MCA program, the Company provides merchants with working capital through pre-purchase, at a discount, of merchants’ future cash flows. It sells aeroplan points to merchants who are small and mid-sized retailers and service providers. In the loyalty marketing program, the Company is a re-seller of aeroplan points.
