Corn and soybean crops are off to a good start as planting season wrapped up. A wet winter and spring in much of the Corn Belt set up farmers to start the growing season off right. La Niña, the warmer, drier effects of a strong El Niño, hasn't returned yet. The Western Corn Belt could see heat and dryness in the summer.
