Triton International Limited is a lessor of intermodal freight containers. The Company’s operations include acquisition, leasing, re-leasing and subsequent sale of multiple types of intermodal containers and chassis. The Company’s segments include Equipment leasing and Equipment trading. The Equipment leasing segment owns, leases and ultimately disposes of containers and chassis from its lease fleet. The Equipment trading segment consists of purchasing containers from shipping line customers, and other sellers of containers, and reselling these containers to container retailers and users of containers for storage or one-way shipment. The Company also leases chassis, which are used for the transportation of containers. The Company, through its subsidiaries, leases intermodal transportation equipment, primarily maritime containers, and provides maritime container management services through a worldwide network of service subsidiaries, third-party depots and other facilities.
