About CCID
Carlyle Credit Income Fund is an externally managed closed-end fund focused on investing in primarily equity and junior debt tranches of collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). The CLOs are collateralized by a portfolio consisting primarily of United States senior secured loans with a large number of distinct underlying borrowers across various industry sectors. Its primary investment objective is to generate current income, with a secondary objective to generate capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of the aggregate of its net assets and borrowings for investment purposes in credit and credit-related instruments. For purposes of this policy, it considers credit and credit-related instruments to include, without limitation: equity and debt tranches of CLOs, LAFs and securities issued by other securitization vehicles, such as CBOs, convertible debt securities, and others. It is externally managed by Carlyle Global Credit Investment Management L.L.C.
