Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. manufactures optical sighting systems and assemblies primarily for the United States Department of Defense, foreign military applications and commercial markets. Its segments include Applied Optics Center (AOC) and Optex Systems-Richardson (Optex Richardson). The Applied Optics Center segment also serves as the key supplier of laser coated filters used in the production of periscope assemblies for the Optex Richardson segment. Its products are installed on a variety of United States military land vehicles, such as the Abrams and Bradley fighting vehicles, light armored and advanced security vehicles and have been selected for installation on the Stryker family of vehicles. The Company also manufactures and delivers many periscope configurations, rifle and surveillance sights and night vision optical assemblies. Its products consist primarily of building print products that are delivered both directly to the military and to other defense prime contractors.
