Japanese Data Improves But We Still Don't Expect A BoJ Policy Shift This Month. Third-quarter GDP contracted more than expected, with private consumption and inventory contribution to GDP falling. Cash earnings and household spending improved in October and current account surplus widened in October. InG believes third- quarter GDP was revised down unexpectedly, but the improved current account and cash earnings suggest a rebound in growth in the fourth quarter.
