Global Economic Outlook: Growth Prospects Brighten, InflAtion Outlook More Cloudy
Annual global real GDP forecast for 2024 has been revised up from 2.3% to 2.5%. Global PMI data continues to point to a gradual improvement in economic conditions. Western Europe's growth underperformance is likely to persist in the near term. The JPMorgan Global Composite PMI index is at its highest level in seven months.

EM Central Banks: More Easing In The Cards?
Emerging markets have taken solace in the view that the U.S. Hiking cycle is over. Slowing global inflation has been due to sharply lower core goods inflation. The sunset of Fed tightening provides room for further rate cuts in emerging markets. Overall, we see the biggest opportunities for duration exposure in Brazil, Colombia and Indonesia.
