About Litecoin
Litecoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that enables quick transactions at a low cost. Charlie Lee founded Litecoin in 2011 after his experience as a Bitcoin miner. Litecoin shares many similarities to Bitcoin as it is based on Bitcoin’s open-source code. A notable difference between the two cryptocurrencies is Litecoin’s lower block generation time allowing for quicker transactions. The current circulating supply is ~66,752,615 LTC, and the maximum supply is 84,000,000 LTC.

Litecoin (LTC or Ł) is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency,it is an improved version of digital currency inspired by Bitcoin (Bitcoin, BTC). It was launched on November 9, 2011. Litecoin and Bitcoin have the same technical implementation principles, but Litecoin's creation and transfer are based on an open source encryption protocol and are not subject to the management of any central authority.
