Silex Systems Limited is a technology commercialization company, the primary asset of which is the SILEX laser enrichment technology (SILEX technology). It is focused on the commercialization of its SILEX laser-based enrichment technology for application to key global markets: uranium production and enrichment (nuclear power), silicon enrichment (silicon quantum computing) and medical isotope enrichment (new cancer therapies). Its segments include Silex Systems, Translucent and Silex USA. Its technology includes SILEX Laser Isotope Separation Technology, SILEX Uranium Enrichment Technology, Global Laser Enrichment and SILEX Quantum Silicon Production for Quantum Computing. SILEX technology has been under development for uranium enrichment jointly with licensee, Global Laser Enrichment LLC. It is focused on the development of additional commercial applications of SILEX technology, including the production of Quantum Silicon for the emerging technology of silicon-based quantum computing.
