Frontera Energy Corporation is a Canada-based company. The Company is involved in the exploration, development, production, transportation, storage and sale of oil and natural gas in South America. It includes interests in approximately 20 exploration and production blocks in Colombia and Guyana, as well as pipeline and port facilities in Colombia. Its Colombia upstream assets include Quifa SW, CPE-6, and VIM-1. The Quifa SW is located in the Llanos Basin, in Puerto Gaitan. The CPE-6 is located approximately 300 kilometers southeast of Bogota in the Llanos Basin. The VIM-1 is located in the Lower Magdalena Valley. Its infrastructure assets include Puerto Bahia, ODL Pipeline, SAARA and ProAgrollanos. The Puerto Bahia is a multimodal maritime terminal in Colombia. The ODL Pipeline is a 260-kilometer, 24-inch pipeline located in the Meta and Casanare Departments in Colombia. The SAARA is a reverse osmosis water treatment facility. The ProAgrollanos is an African palm planting project.
