About TWAPF
TOWA PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. is engaged in the manufacture and sale of ethical pharmaceutical products. The Company operates through two segments. The Domestic segment manufactures pharmaceutical products and sells them directly to medical institutions through its sales offices, as well as to agents, pharmaceutical wholesalers and other pharmaceutical manufacturers. Through its subsidiaries, the Company engages in businesses such as the research and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, the production of soft capsules, and the planning, development, and contract manufacturing of health foods and pharmaceuticals. The Overseas segment consists of a holding company that consolidates the generic pharmaceutical business in Europe and the United States. Its group companies have research and development and manufacturing bases in Europe, and are engaged in the generic pharmaceutical sales business and contract research and development and manufacturing business.
