Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the tire, sports, and industrial products. It has three business segments. The Tire Business segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of tires and tubes for automobiles, construction vehicles, industrial vehicles, race and rally vehicles, and motorcycles, as well as the automotive business (puncture repair agents, air pressure warning devices). The Sports Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of sporting goods such as golf clubs, golf balls, and other golf and tennis equipment, as well as the operation of golf tournaments and golf and tennis schools. The Industrial Products and Other Business segment is engaged in the high-performance rubber business, including vibration control dampers, rubber for office automation (OA) equipment, and medical rubber, the daily necessities business, including kitchen and work gloves and wheelchair ramps and others.
