Fredonia Mining Inc. is a gold-silver exploration company. The Company holds gold and silver license areas totaling approximately 18,300 hectares (ha) in the Deseado Massif geological region in the Province of Santa Cruz, Argentina, including the following principal areas: its flagship-the advanced El Dorado-Monserrat project located close to AngloGold Ashanti’s 300,000 oz./yr Au-Ag Cerro Vanguardia mine, the El Aguila project, and the Petrificados project. El Dorado Monserrat (EDM) comprises a number of license blocks covering about 6,200 ha. The El Aguila project is located in the eastern sector of the Deseado Massif and comprises three license blocks that cover approximately 9,124 ha. The project is located 70 kilometers (km) northeast of Cerro Vanguardia mine and 45 km west of Cerro Moro. The Petrificados project covering 3,000 ha is located close to E2’s Conserrat project, along the major mineralized trend extending northwest from Cerro Vanguardia to the Pinguino project.
