First Quantum Minerals Ltd. is a mining company. The Company produces copper in concentration, copper anode, copper cathode, nickel, gold, zinc, silver, cobalt, acid and pyrite. Its development projects include Haquira, Taca Taca, and La Granja. Taca Taca, located in the Salta province of Argentina, consists of an open-pit copper mine and ore processing plant that produces up to 275 kilotons(kt) of copper per year along with gold and molybdenum by-products. La Granja is located in the district of Querocoto in the northern region of Cajamarca, Peru, approximately 90 kilometers northeast of Chiclayo. Haquira is located in the Apurimac region of Peru.
