Helios Fairfax Partners Corporation is a Canada-based investment holding company. The Company’s investment objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation, while preserving capital, by investing in public and private equity securities and debt instruments in Africa and African businesses or other businesses with customers, suppliers or business primarily conducted in, or dependent on, Africa. The Company makes its investments either directly or through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, which include a South Africa-based subsidiary, HFP South Africa Investments Proprietary Limited (SA Sub) and a Mauritius-based subsidiary, HFP Investments Limited (Mauritius Sub). HFA Topco, L.P. (TopCo LP or the Portfolio Advisor) is the portfolio advisor of the Company and, through its sub-advisor, Helios Investment Partners LLP (Helios or the Manager), provides investment management services, investment advisory services and investment administration services to the Company.
