Gunnison Copper Corp. is a multi-asset pure-play copper developer and producer that controls the Cochise Mining District (the district), containing 12 known deposits within an eight kilometers economic radius, in the Southern Arizona Copper Belt. The Company is focused on producing fully Made in America finished copper cathode to directly supply American energy, defense, and manufacturing supply chains. Its two operating segments include Gunnison Copper Project and Johnson Camp Mine. The Company's Gunnison Project is located about 65 miles east of Tucson, Arizona on the southeastern flank of the Little Dragoon Mountains in the Cochise Mining District. The property is within the copper porphyry belt of Arizona. Its Johnson Camp Mine is engaged in producing copper cathode from run-of-mine (ROM) ore. The Company also owns a portfolio of adjacent exploration projects, including the South Star deposit and the Peabody Sill and the Strong and Harris deposits.
