The Company is focused on returning capital to stockholders through owning and acquiring operated and non-operated working interest and royalty interest ownership primarily in the Bakken and Three Forks formations in the Williston Basin of North Dakota and Montana. It also owns non-operated interests in oil and gas properties in the Central Rockies, including the Denver-Julesburg Basin located in Colorado and Wyoming and the Powder River Basin located in Wyoming. It is also engaged in oil and natural gas development and production by participating on a proportionate basis alongside third-party interests in wells drilled and completed.
