The Zhitong Finance App learned that COSCO Haineng (01138) fell nearly 5% in early trading. As of press release, it decreased by 4.37% to HK$15.55, with a turnover of HK$315 million.

According to the news, the Shipping Information Network quoted Lowe's Daily on October 27 as reporting that the crude oil freight rate index has declined significantly in the past two weeks, but most of the increase in spot freight prices since the beginning of September has been preserved. Currently, spot freight prices are still unimaginable at a high level before the Hormuz crisis; the increase in ship-to-ship transfers in the Gulf of Oman has also reduced ship turnover efficiency and tightened effective capacity.

Everbright Securities believes that although crude oil freight rates have fallen from a high point, spot freight prices are still relatively high. The subsequent trend depends on the navigation environment, ship turnover efficiency, and pallet changes in the Strait of Hormuz; freight rates for refined oil products need to pay attention to changes in pallets and capacity supply and demand. It is recommended to pay attention to COSCO Marine and China Merchants Shipping.
