The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the monthly operating rate of major construction machinery products in October 2026 was 52.5%, down 2.48 percentage points from the previous year, and up 0.08 percentage points from the previous month.

Among them: excavators 53.2%; loaders 59.2%; truck cranes 50.8%; crawler cranes 48.4%; tower cranes 45.7%; rollers 31.4%; pavers 39.1%; rotary drilling rigs 44.8%; off-highway mining dump trucks 49.9%; concrete pump trucks 32%; concrete mixers 42.4%; forklifts 56.9%.

In October 2026, the average monthly working time of major construction machinery products was 83.5 hours, up 3.2% year on year and 3.5% month on month.

Among them: 66.9 hours for excavators; 115 hours for truck cranes; 72.6 hours for crawler cranes; 50.1 hours for tower cranes; 25.5 hours for rollers; 31.7 hours for pavers; 77.9 hours for rotary drilling rigs; 180 hours for off-highway mining dump trucks; 36.6 hours for concrete pumps; 110 hours for forklifts; and 98.9 hours for forklifts.
