Standard Chartered Group (02888): Leung Kwok-kuen appointed Chairman of the Audit Committee

Jackie Hunt has decided to retire as an independent non-executive director of the board of directors and a member of the Audit Committee, the Board Risk Committee, the Remuneration Committee, and the Governance and Nomination Committee for personal reasons, effective from December 31, 2026.

Independent non-executive director Leung Kwok-kuen will replace Jackie Hunt as Chairman of the Audit Committee from January 1, 2027, subject to regulatory approval. He will also be appointed as a member of the Board's Risk Committee, Remuneration Committee, and Governance and Nomination Committee on the same day.
