According to Woofun AI, two wallets under Trump Media Technology Group (DJT.US) marked by an on-chain analyst firm executed a large asset transfer on November 5, sending a total of 4,259 BTC (about US$344 million) to the centralized exchange Crypto.com.

The amount of bitcoins involved in this operation is considerable, accounting for about 30% of the approximately 14,139 bitcoins the company held as of July 31. The figure comes from its Q2 10-Q submission on August 10: In July, the company sold $160 million in crypto-related securities in exchange for Bitcoin, increasing its holdings to 14,139. What needs to be distinguished is that the 4,260.73 bitcoins disclosed in the same document are collateral for convertible notes and cannot be distributed or withdrawn until the notes expire on May 29, 2028; Arkham Intelligence classified the relevant address under the name of Trump's media entities, but the 4,259 coins transferred this time are not part of this batch of restricted assets. The on-chain agencies Lookonchain and Onchain Lens both judged this transfer to be sold on an exchange, and the company has yet to respond.

According to data compiled by Woofun AI, such large position transfers are usually accompanied by complex financial structural designs aimed at optimizing balance sheets or meeting specific debt terms.

This isn't the first time. Since 2026, Trump Media has transferred approximately 9,540 bitcoins, or about $714 million, to Crypto.com: 2,000 in January (about $87,378 in Bitcoin at the time), 2,650 in May (about $77,341), and 2,628 in early August (about $63,000). A company spokesperson stated to The Block in August that the Bitcoin in question was “a transfer, not a sale,” and has yet to comment. It initially opened a position of 11,542 units, costing approximately $1.37 billion, with an average price of $118,522.

This large-scale BTC transfer not only revealed the increasingly complex bonds between traditional politicians and cryptographic financial instruments, but also highlighted the practical application of hybrid financial products such as convertible notes in Web3 asset disposal. As the regulatory environment's requirements for transparency in cryptoasset collateral continue to increase, the on-chain behavior of such high-net-worth linked accounts will become a key indicator for the market to observe compliance risks and capital flows.
