The Development and Reform Commission will continue to use water network projects as an important support area, maintain the reasonable intensity of central investment, and at the same time strive to broaden water resources investment and financing channels, make good use of new policy financial instruments, attract the participation of social capital, especially private capital, and promote the issuance and listing of more water infrastructure investment trusts. Recently, the Guangdong Guangdong Water Resources REITs project was listed and traded on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. This is also the second REITs project in the water conservancy sector in China.
