According to the news, on the evening of October 30, Abo Technology Holdings issued a profit warning. It is expected to lose no less than HK$27 million in the six months ending September 30, 2026, an increase of about 6% or more over the same period in 2025; the company owner should account for a loss of no less than HK$24 million, an increase of about 69% or more over the loss of about HK$14.2 million in the same period in 2025.

According to the announcement, the increase in losses was mainly due to the fact that the lottery business's division profit decreased by no less than HK$14 million in mid-2026. The reason was that the lottery hardware industry was cyclical, and the total number of sports lottery hardware tenders in mainland China decreased in mid-2026.
