Zhitong Finance App News, International Entertainment (01009) announced that its self-operated second-stage online gaming business will commence operation in mid-November or late November 2026. Through an online gaming platform under the name “La Vie Resort & Casino Manila,” the business will remotely or online provide table games and slot machine games to all registered players in the Philippines who meet the legal qualifications.
Unlike the first phase of online gaming operations carried out in cooperation with other online gaming operators in the Philippines, the second phase of the online gaming business is operated independently by the group. Under the second-stage online gaming business model, the Group will fully own, develop, control, operate, manage and maintain relevant gaming software systems, games, technology and online gaming platforms. The Group will provide, operate and maintain all operating facilities, hardware and equipment (including tables, slot machines and online gaming equipment) required to carry out the second phase of the online gaming business. All games provided by the Phase II online gaming business (if applicable) will be certified by GLI or other game testing laboratories certified or approved by PAGCOR.
The Group will also be solely responsible for the recruitment, employment, supervision and management of all personnel involved in the operation of the online gaming platform, and will reserve full discretion and authority over all staffing and subcontracting arrangements. Furthermore, the Group will be solely responsible for the operation, management and day-to-day administration of online gaming platforms, including but not limited to: (i) customer understanding; (ii) anti-money laundering compliance; (iii) financial reporting, accounting and internal control; (iv) customer support and player services; (v) technical support, system maintenance and implementation of regulatory compliance updates; and (vi) quality assurance, operation supervision and performance monitoring. Therefore, the Group exercises full operational control over all major aspects of the second phase of the online gaming business and assumes the main responsibility.
The online gaming platform system is currently being integrated and is subject to final testing and evaluation; the online gaming platform and its game products will generally operate according to the Group's operational and technical requirements. Any remaining fine-tuning work is expected to be routine and will be implemented as part of the Group's ongoing optimization process prior to official launch. The Group's launch of the second phase of its own online gaming business marks an important milestone, reflecting the Group's mature qualifications, technical strength and operational expertise in the field of online gaming. The Group also plans to use its advantages to explore cooperation opportunities with other participants in the Philippine market to promote further business growth and create value.
Following the first phase of online gaming operations, which provided video games (video game systems) operated through computer software, the second phase of the online gaming business covered the operation of gaming activities and the provision of online gaming services through the Group's online gaming platform, including: (i) online table games and online slot machines, whose live gaming activities are broadcast live in designated regions approved by PAGCOR and limited to that region; (ii) video game systems operated through computer software hosted by the Group's online gaming platform.
