Future Development Holdings (01259): Approved to launch digital banking business in Labuan, Malaysia

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Future Development Holdings (01259) issued an announcement. The Group has applied for and received conditional approval from the Financial Services Authority of the Labuan Federal Territory of Malaysia (“Labuan Approval”). Set up a subsidiary in Labuan, Malaysia with effect from September 8, 2026 to (a) operate digital banking business in Labuan as defined in section 86 of the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010 (“LFSSA”); (b) conduct digital banking business in accordance with the Labuan Digital Banking Framework (Labuan Digital Banking Framework) dated December 7, 2020; and (c) set up marketing services in accordance with the “Establishment of marketing services” Guidelines on the Marketing Office (Guidelines on the Marketing Office) set up a Labuan marketing office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
